Ralph Cook was born on October 15, 1968 in Neptune, New Jersey. He graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1988. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Security Police Specialist. While in the Air Force he received his Associates Degree in Industrial Security through the Community College of the Air Force. During his tenure in the United States Air Force he was assigned to the USAF Desert Warfare Training Center and performed duties as team leader for the Ground Combat Training. Upon completion of this assignment he became the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Quality Control and Evaluation for the 99 Security Forces Group. It was this assignment that sparked his interest in regulatory affairs. Ralph was then reassigned as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the 99 Air Base Wings Antiterrorism Office. His responsibilities included the Antiterrorism program, Operation Security program, and Military Deception program. He received accolades for having the best Antiterrorism program in the command in 2009. During a 2010 Operational Readiness Inspection the Operational Security and Military Deception Program was rated “Outstanding”, 1 of only 3 programs to receive this distinction.
Upon his retirement from the United States Air Force Ralph decided to combine his two favorite passions of Regulatory Affairs and Mixed Martial Arts. Ralph was selected as the Nevada State Director for International Sport Karate Association (ISKA). Ralph has a Bachelor’s degree in Business. During his time as the Nevada State Director ISKA he has grown the organization from one promotion to five. He supervised and ensured the training a team of 35 ISKA certified officials. To date he has provided oversight to over 130 amateur and professional events since 2008.
